New build Rack/Patch panel and switch help please

Hi fellas

Almost finished building our new home and have prewired 2 Cat6 and coax to most rooms, from a walk in cupboard in the study.

Can anyone please advise how best to set this system up?

is this a decent deal?

£177.588 Inc VAT for the bundle. Don't forget to benefit really you want cat6 panel and gigabit port.

On it's own, separate.. £180.92
24 Port cat6 Patch Panel = £33.60 Inc VAT.
Gigabit 24 port switch = £75.32 Inc Vat.
6u Cabinet = £72.00 Inc Vat.

I remember about a year ago I spent £160 on a 6u cabinet alone! You want it tidy too. Did you do the install?

Just if I have selected the correct items for my setup. One Cat6 to each room would be for wired internet and then the spare for maybe sending HDMI video in the future. Hopefully my electrician will connect everything up for me.

Worth it really. You get a tidy setup if I'm honest that's really the main reason you do things properly. To top it off Cat6 should be good for 5 years at least.
