Hey all,

Since my new build, which was made on Sunday 29th, I've been getting some random BSOD's, which I think may be due to memory. I just had one before I posted this.

Was on Ventrilo, Firefox and re-installing WoW TBC, went to load up Msn and pc just Blue screened. Really frustrating to be honest.

Spec:
Asus P5K Deluxe
Q6600 - B3 @ stock
Tuniq Tower 120
Crucial Ballistix 6400 @ stock (2GB)
BFG 8800GTX OC2
Enermax Infiniti 650W
Akasa Eclipse 62

Case has excellent cooling, but Im pretty sure its something to do with ram, or incorrect voltages. I'm not sure yet.

Any help will be much appreciated.

Go into BIOS and if it's the same as mine (P5W Deluxe) you'll find RAM Voltage under Advanced > JumperFree Configuration.

According to this site your RAM is rated at 2.2V

Try setting to that (but not higher) and see if you still have problems. While you're in there make sure the frequency and timings are within spec of your RAM.

If you are still experiencing BSoDs after this try removing one stick at a time and see if you get the same issues.

I just checked and there's nothing in the bios called "Ram Voltage", maybe its because my BIOS is an old version? (0202)

You may need to change some related settings to Manual. I meant to say Memory Voltage, not RAM Voltage. The screen in my BIOS is as below.

EDIT: Just looked into the BIOS for your motherboard and it should be listed as DRAM Voltage.
