Hello there.

I'm about to order the following parts and would be extremely grateful if anyone could see any potential compatibility issues.
I am not too fussed about overclocking too much. I'll be mainly using the pc for games and music. This is the first ATI card I've chosen for a long long time (usually have Nvidia, currently 4200Ti).
My main questions apart from the compatibility issues are -
1, is the power supply enough for the set up?
2, is the graphics card a good buy for the price compared to nvidia equivalents?
3, Will the memory be good for my requirements?

CP-126-IN Intel Core 2 DUO E6300 "LGA775 Allendale" 1.86GHz (1066FSB) - Retail (CP-126-IN) £114.99

Many thanks in advance

That setup is good!

Will you be overclocking?

Just bare in mind that if the RAM does detect at the correct speed etc... you'll have to set it manually in the BIOS - But that is very easy to do.

You may also want to upgrade the Bios to one of the later version when you receive the board.

...and that PSU is good enough :)

Yep nice spec, but I personally I'd get the Geil 2x1Gb PC6400 Low Latency kit. Is this gonna be used for gaming? Can you stretch to a x1900xt? Both are good cards and I think it's fair to say that you'll get what you pay for with either :)

Nice spec, happy shopping :)

Oh yeah... and a decent cooler if you want to Overclock...

Best budget cooler is an Arctic Freeezer Pro!

Many thanks for the replies. I don't think I'll be doing much in the way of overclocking, maybe just a little.

Be warned! - Once you start..... You can't stop :)
