Hey all,

Just had my 21st birthday, thus meaning ive got some spare dosh to splash about and i want to upgrade my current rig to drag it kicking and screaming into 2010!

My current budget is £600ish, i might be able to stretch to £700, not sure atm.

I dont need a case or PSU as im planning to use the ones i currently have - the PSU is either 850w or 1000w cant remember which and ive got an Asus A+ case.

Im going to be using my pc for gaming, gaming and if i have time some more gaming., however i also do a fair bit of 3D design work so id quite like it to have some fairly fast render times in 3D studio max as mine is rather sluggish at the moment!


Heres what im thinking - feel free to throw this out the window and tell me im wrong! :D

3. Memory (Ram) - Want 4GB+, but not sure what to get

5. Graphics card(s) - The last GPU i purchased was an 8800gtx so no idea what to go for here

6. Power supply (PSU) - Not needed

7. CPU cooler - Planning to overclock so something that can handle it

8. Case - Not needed

10. CD/DVDRW drive(s) - Would like a DVDRW ideally

So yeah im more than happy to look at any £600-£700 builds you guys can recommend!

the motherboard has SATA and USB3.0 and also supports true crossfire at 8X/8X
 
Thanks to both of ya, liking the look of Stulid's one there - just wondering about the memory, i always kinda put low voltage together with lower performance, is that true or not?
