Hi

Was previously looking to upgrade the below (GFX) but was pointed out I would probably need a new PSU. So Im considering just a new build altogether but going round in circles trying to decide on components!

Heres my current:

Windows 10 Home (x64)
MSI MPG Z390 GAMING EDGE AC
3.70 gigahertz Intel Core i5-9600K
16gb DDR4 3200mhz RAM (Corsair Vengeance LPX)
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060
Corsair VS650 PSU
Iiyama PL2730Q (Displayport/HDMI)

I have a decent 1440 monitor so looking for a good card to play games at this level, (AMD Freesync) so something that works well with that.

I use the PC all the time for general stuff and work (dont need photoshop or any intensive editing) so looking at a Ryzen but unsure whether to go 7 or 9...then which RAM and mobo.

Being honest too, Id like something aestehtically pleasing. Really like the AIO Corsair setups with multiple RGB fans for good cooling.

Looking to spend maybe 1k-1.5k max. Potentially with a 3080/4070 or a AMD equivalant but feel free to tear that up!

Cheers!

Wouldn't a 4060ti draw about the same juice as your existing 2060?

Might offer a cheaper solution until 5000 or 6000 series?

Thanks for this guys, thats helpful. I see there is some new AMD cards due to be released next week too (RX 7800 XT and Radeon RX 7700 XT) seems they are quite the contenders...
