Hi guys

I am going to purchase and build a new gaming PC to replace my Intel dual core 2.4Ghz CPU with EVGA 8800 GTS AC3 GPU

I am wanting to build a new gaming rig base around new Intel I7 CPU

Budget around £1300, can anyone please recommend which is best kit to purchase.

So many mobo choices, from P67, Z68, X58 and X79, no idea which is which and which one to get, please recommend - dual channel memory or tri channel memory, or quad?

Also, is Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit ok for gaming?

Also, I have an OCZ modular 750W power supply that works with my current ASUS P5W DH Deluxe Home MOBO Socket 775, wondering if this will work on new the MOBO

I am not looking to utilise any components from my old PC with the exception of PSU (if poss) and wondered if my current GPU is p to it or needs replacing.

I am going to purchase a retail version of Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit and this cost is not part of the £1300.00 budget.

Was thinking of Antec 1200 gaming case as my aluminium Thermalkate case is a little short in width for new GTX580 GPU.s

I only need the base unit as have all peripherals, KB, mouse, monitor etc.

Games I want to play maxed out are Skyrim, BF3, Etc, Etc

Kind regards

Paul
