Hi,

Finally got round to building the pc as in my sig, please note I have no ssd yet as they are on "pre order" the build is all new!

I installed windows 7 pro as I have done many many times before..

The mouse cursor pauses when moving around the screen and then will jump ahead in the direction I was moving it... very annoying!!

The mouse / Keyboard is a 5 year old logitech (need to upgrade) had no issues on my previous system which I sold.

Have also tried another keyboard and mouse from family friend same problem?

Any ideas or suggestions would be much appreciated???

is the light on the underneath of the mouse working normally - assuming it has one?

Just wondering if the USB port isn't giving enough power

OK, So I have tried a working keyboard & mouse which I stole from a family member its a logitech K360 keyboard with a usb logitech mouse M-UAS144

I installed the logitech software via there site.

The mouse still freezes and then jumps when it should be smoothly scrolling, typing is diffiuclt!! Sometime it misses letters and it carried on typing letter after pressing them!

I dont know what to try next? Any ideas?

Thanks

**Solved**

Turned out to be drivers... I belive! Updated the bios and hunted down some new(er) drivers and all seems smooth as smooth can be!

Thanks for all the help for those who commented! And I was convinced it was hardware (posted in wrong section) as never ever come across this issue before with mouse and keyboard!

:)
