Fair enough I'll go for the Gigabyte. Or fork out the extra £50-ish for an Asus P8Z68-V PRO because I'm stupid like that. So, unless you've got anything else to add am I all sorted now?

Oh and as far as sound card I don't care so I'm going to use onboard.

The pro isn't worth the extra.

I can think of a few boards that are better.

Doesn't the pro have better sound? That's mainly why I was going for it.

Thought you didnt care about the sound? the onboard sound chips these days are very good, even on rubbish boards.

Touche, I just figured if I'm not buying a seperate card I don't mind spending a bit extra on better onboard sound. But yeah, probably not worth it if we're being logical.

About £210* cheaper than inital build, £1,000 cheaper than the fully upgraded build (don't even ask).

*Already got 8gb of ram.

Also imagine buying something now for say £200, then it reducing in price while you're still waiting to buy the last bits to complete the build.
