New build that won't melt?

Make sure the graphics card and cable are the latest revision (3) of the 12VHPWR. Point a fan at the power 12VHPWR connector.

12VHPWR is a silly idea. It’s a terrible solution looking to solve a problem that didn’t need to be solved. Its not fit for purpose.
