Hi everyone. im looking for some advice, its been a long time since i last built a pc, coming from an Ivy Bridge 3770k

I have a healthy budget and want to build a monster gaming PC i have no interest in RGB but im not against it.

I want a gaming PC to last me as long as my ivybridge has.

I dont really care what it looks like just want performance. having said that if im not interested in paying hundreds extra for 0.5% extra performance

Can anyone spec a build for me, im looking at a 13900k and a 4090 but need recommendations on everything else

I wont be reusing any part of the old PC

Thanks in advance

Ok my bad guys i had a look and i will take your advice on the cpu. just in any previous builds i have always gone for best possible cpu and gpu.
ok so looking now at the 13700k tied with 4090.
i would prefer to stick with intel unless there is an actual reason to switch to amd for gaming which i cant see but i am open to correction. im no expert here guys so i will defer to your knowledge on this matter.
Basically i want a build that will do me for years, where i will likely upgrade the gpu in the future but would like to stick with the base components and ensure that they will not bottleneck the gpu ( as much as is possible). Thanks
