New build time

1 quick last question, while I'm at it, I might as well treat myself to a new keyboard. Mines pretty beat up and the wrist rest has broken.
It's a Logitech, not sure of the model, but it looks a bit like the media 600, which I would order but it's out of stock.

And now start rocking back and forth saying to yourself "what have i done", then it all gets delivered and you turn into a little kid at Christmas lol.

G11. I have one love it, all my noob friends dont know much about computers so when they see the keyboard with the blue bk lighting and my pc lit up like a christmas tree theyre like OMG AWESOME.
You could probably contact logitech about the wrist board broken, and they'll probably replace the whole keyboard for you...if theyre out of production and if your lucky they could send u a G11 for free lol
Theyre customer service is second to none

Well she arrived yesterday and I put her together this afternoon.

Few points, JESUS CHRIST that heat sink is massive , the picture does it no credit at all. I had to break 1 of the clips for the side panel fan because it was catching on the heat sink. I would take a picture but I can't find the charger for my camera.

It's been a good few years since I built a PC, but it seemed to go together pretty easily. Was my 1st time installing Win7 and damned if it wasn't quick.

So my next steps are

  • Install an anti-virus and firewall, then update all the drivers.
  • Install some games
  • Pop over to the overclocker sub-forum and poke them for some help

Had to take them on my mobile, so I appoligise for the poor quality.

I have no idea why this picture got turned around, I didn't upload it like that

Excuse the messy wires, but I'm too lazy to tidy them up :p

And here's the bit of casing I had to snap
