New build wont even boot

just built my new pc and i cant even get the thing to turn on! its an i7 spec:

anyone have any ideas? its so strange, theres no power what so ever being supplied

Everything connected properly? pop a nice picture on here of the inside.
I remember when i rebuilt my pc it wouldnt boot at all untill i got the little wires in one of the corners plugged in together properly. (the little wires, whitered, whiteblue, whitegreen)

Dont know if these are even in your pc but you never know

In mine they control the power button and front LEDs

no not a thing, all connection are fine, there seems to be no ower being supplied at all? its very strange

Silly question, does the psu have a switch on the back which needs turning on, does the mains lead need a fuse or plug socket faulty.

u sure all connections a re plugged in properly? ATX 2.2? mobo 8pin? GPU 2x6pin ? power/reset switches?

It sounds like youre missing something reaaaally simple.
Its unlikely (and would be majorly unfortunate) that your parts are all borked

Did you use the spacers when you fitted the motherboard? Could be shorting.

I would suggest taking the PSU out and testing that, you can buy a proper tester for not much (£5 or so).
Or there's the DIY method, bridging the 4th and 5th pin on the top row from the left then plugging it into the mains (and nothing else).

Does sound like the power switch cables on the bottom right of the motherboard, are you 100% they are in the right place as per motherboard manual?
