New Build + XP Install

Hi guys,

Just built a new system tonight:

Intel Core 2 Quad Pro Q6600
Asus P5N-E SLi nForce 650
Corsair 2GB DDR2 XMS2-6400C4 TwinX
Gainward BLISS GeForce 8800 GTS 512MB
Hitachi Deskstar T7K500 250GB

Trying to install XP 32bit right now and it keeps hanging/crashing on about 39% - any ideas?

Try with just 1 stick of ram.

Naff ram, do a memtest on it.

Yes. The RAM tick must be faulty. As suggested run memtest. http://www.memtest.org/
