Should be ordering this on Monday. A few questions first though.
Is the PSU capable of powering the system?
How well does the 650i clock? Can I take my E2140 to 3.2 with it? Anything I should be worried about?
Thanks.

Hey, welcome to the forum :-)

Is the PSU capable of powering the system?
Yes, it'll power that system just fine.

650i clocks well, even more so due to it's ability to unlink from the RAM so you can focus on the CPU then maybe concentrate on the RAM at a seperate point. I'm not sure if you could take the E2140 to near 3.2Ghz however on an AF7 Pro, and you might want something more beefier to cope with the heat (i.e better cooling). If you were to choose another cooler I'd recommend something like the Scythe Ninja Rev. B, Thermaltake BigTyp 120 VX, Tuniq Tower 120 or the Thermalright Ultima 90i.

Spec'd you up something. Thought I'd have a shot and see if I could get you some better stuff for your money and came with up with the below spec. You might already have your heart set on your current spec but thought I'd mention it anyway in case you wanted to mull it over. Comes with:

Better video card, with double the memory.
Highed spec'd CPU - help you get that 3.2Ghz
Better cooler - again for the overclock and cooling aspect.
Better motherboard based on the P35 chipset.
Better case and power supply.
Better hard drive - maxtor should burn in hell.

Something to maybe mull over anyway if you were interested in alternatives.

Thanks for the warm welcome!
That looks like a great system you suggested, but I forgot to add into my specs the monitor I'm going with. It still all adds up to £491 so I think I'll stick with my current specs and just make some cooling and hard drive changes :)
Again, thanks!

meh, go with flibby's spec tbh. The 9x multi on the e2160 is much easier to clock with for very little extra money.

He's (assuming male) raised the quality of the components - from 'smart price' to 'taste the difference' :D

If you read my above post you'd see that he didn't mention a monitor, so it's out of the question :)

Yeah I did, I was hoping you'd change your mind - still nothing wrong with your spec, it's impressive how quick a PC you can get these days for a monkey.

Don't forget to give that e2140 a bit of overclock, 2.5 - 3GHZ will make a big difference, especially in games.

I'd fork out the extra £7 for the E2160 at least, mostly because of it's higher multiplier (9x instead of 8x on the E2140) - better for your overclock and already 200mhz closer to what you want.
