just the screens to look in to now have about £700 to £800 left what would be best i know you all think 3 24" screens would be a waste but i would love to have 3 tell me the best for the money 2 and 3 setup

I have spent £300 on water cooling for this system

I have been trying to work out what parts are good and bad for 2 weeks so iam so happy you people are helping me out

thank you so much for all the help

I dont think 3 screens is a waste just to use them properly in games as well as outside of xfire/ sli (subject to me being wrong) you will need another box.

I run dual screens and plan to run tri screen soon.

Right i have just dropped the 3rd screen to go with 2 Dell Ultrasharp 2408WFP 24" Widescreen LCD Monitor. is this screen good for 3d work and games.

Corsair ssds are a bad call. Seek times are quick, read and write are shocking for an ssd.
Stick with vertex, intel, or conventional hard drives.

What water cooling are you going with? Fitting enough radiators to keep that lot cool may be a challenge

the dell 2408Fpw is great for pretty much anyting plumjet, nice colours low input lag and reasonable response time, good viewing angles too

my friend has one and I am jelous

Vertex is far better than apex, how come you're going with the worse one?

Watercooling looks like a good start. You're not putting the gfx cards under water then? Gfx cards clock far better if you can keep them cold, and won't made so much noise. The issue is that they'll need blocks, and you might be asking a lot of that radiator if you put the cards under as well

Does any know if the two connections on the water block on the Gigabyte GA-EX58-Extreme Intel X58 motherboard can be removed and Will this TFC Compression Fitting G1/4" Thread 3/8" ID/1/2" OD - High Flow fit back in place

Nope, but you also want to check that gigabyte have used copper for the block and not aluminium. You don't want aluminium.

By what i have seen i think its aluminium would i be better of buying new block

may have to look in to the video card a little more 3 would be good but the money is getting very tight now, the problem is you can always go one more step LOL

iam all most ready to order now

3 of the normal clocked asus 285 = £750
2 of the BFG 285 OCX = £660

Tbh, it is quite obvious which one is better value for money.

Also 2 of the 4870x2 would come under £500 and still be about the same performance of 2x 285 OCX.

well i would have loved to of put 3 asus video cards in but run out of money so went with the 2 BFG,s will post pics when its all here and pics of the build, may need a little help along the way

Well all you help was not a waste of time as you can see by what turn up on my door step

and then build began
