Should all work fine.

Do you have a case, hard disk, DVD drive and operating system? I'm guessing you do, this looks like a nice system upgrade for heavy CPU work.

What is your main use for the PC? IF it is CPU heavy stuff like photoshop, CAD, video encoding, then you are spot on. However, if it is primarily for gaming I would suggest getting and i5 750 instead and use the money saved on a beefier graphics card like the ATI HD 5850.

Main use will be video encoding, photo editing and gaming.

Would love a 5850 but just can't go that far at the moment.

Current system is on it's last legs, so i will purchase the new in a few days.
