New Build

It would perform better but would cost more, the normal 560 isn't on AnandTech bench for some reason so it is hard to see what kind of improvement you would see between the two. I would always advise to pay as much money as possible on the core components though to avoid the need to upgrade more quickly.

Also I would still suggest the Corsair RAM as you are unlikely to see any performance difference and it is less money.

i want the ssd caching what are the other 2 things are they hard to explain if they are ill look them up and read if not can you tell me what they do ?

thanks again guys a esp stulid for al lthe help just want to make sure i get what i want before i ***** my hard earned cash again :p

Lucid Virtu uses the onboard GPU built into the CPUs when the system isnt doing much so you save power instead of running the graphics card all the time.

Qucicksysnc can use the onboard GPU core to speed up certain programs rendering time such as video editing, but only a few programs use it currently.

Get corsair low profile vengeance 12800C9. No messing about and will perform just as good as the ripjaws 17000. Then you can get a silver arrow or the GD65 + 212+ (although works also with rijpaws if you move them to secondary memory channel), save some money, or go with 8gb (vengeance LP :)).

ok thank you
ok so ive narrowed it down to this no on your guys recomendations i switched the ram out and put the extra money towards the better gpu

here it is :)

good. If you are happy with GPU. You could get a 6950 2GB going with the GD65 & Hyper 212+, but then again, the SSD will be too small. If you go with silver arrow or Akasa venom, can get a 560ti.

ye i see that but id pay an extra £15 just for the extra 1 year warrenty
ok the cooler i picked actually works better than the silver arrow

the Noctua NH-D14 works a lot lot better under heavey load than the silver arrow does so ill stick to that i think but thanks anyways

just incase you wanted to know where i got info from

and i think ill stick to the ram i got as it seem very recommended and is cheap

is it worth spending £50 pound for for this gfx card stulid

thanks once again

i think the diffrence betwean the 3 card is not going to be noticeable so will just stick to the normal 560

if the diffrence was noticeable then i would 100% spend more cos i dotn really want to touch this rig for atleast over year before i want to upgrade

A GTX560ti has more "cores" than a GXT560 (384 vs 336), its not all about clock speeds.

A stock clock GTX560ti is around 10% faster than a GTX560 with a 810mhz core speed,

http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/MSI/GTX_560_Twin_Frozr_II_OC/27.html

You can see the GTX560 and the GTX560ti either side of this MSI GTX560 (overclocked with 870mhz and 1020mhz on the memory) results.
