New build

Had my current build for going on 5 years now. So I think its time to move on, main use will be gaming rig.

Budget is around 800-1100, only need tower (have case - Corsair Graphite 600TM)

Also if it means anything i game on 24" ress 1920 x 1200

This is what I came up with, any savings or improvements I can make?

you have put 2 windows 7 down was that a mistake or do you need 2 windows 7s?

Start off by getting a 2500K instead of 2500

The non-K version cannot be overclocked.

Ah didnt know about that, thanks. Changed CPU to the K version and knocked it down to 1 copy of W7.

Takes the total to £921.90

Good, then you can add a cooler to get a nice overclock

Do you not have a HDD you can re-use? They're hugely overpriced at the moment.

I'd swap it out for a 120ish gb SSD for silly fast speed.
