Hi, looking for a bit of help building a small pc. I've built a few pcs but they wer a few years ago and now Looking at components is like looking at a foreign language.
I'm wanting to build a nice small system that is super quiet but nice and fast. Mainly to edit photos and sort of be a media centre as its more than likely going to be hooked up to my tv.

Thinking of this motherboard

http://ie.asus.com/Motherboards/Intel_Socket_1155/P8Z77I_DELUXE/

With an intel i5 2500k 3.30ghz

With this case: http://www.coolermaster.co.uk/product.php?category_id=3586&product_id=6837
Anyone used this case or recommend any similar that are better?

That's all I've got so far. Can anyone recommend a good psu that will fit an itx case and is quiet?
Also any recommendations on hdd disk and ram?

Sorry if you get asked these questions all the time, Any help would be much apreciated

that case is not out yet ;p
and get a 3750k rather than a 2500k
what's your budget?

if you're not gonna game much, even an i3 would suffice and the board would be overkill

Was going to preorder the case.

Haven't really got a budget, don't wanna go mad tho.

What i3 would u recommend?
I like the motherboard in what it can do, being able to control with iPad and stuff.

tbh, i dont know! lol
all my computers have gpus, i dont know how the g840's integrated gpu with fare
if u dont play any games at all, it'll probably be fine

The G840 would be HD2000 graphics I believe. Certainly not bad by any stretch, and more than enough if not gaming.

food for thought
if you not wanting to put lots hdd's in it (not sure why you would they are noisey)
the new laptops going in the shops with the 4000 gfx, i3, for about the same money
they run cool, less power

just a option :p

Im wanting to put a blu ray player in this and connect it to my surround sound I already have. Would I get full HD without a graphics card?

They sound good but I want a little pc that I can connect to tv and have it as a media player, wanna play blu rays through it and music.

yeh im not saying dont do that just giving you some options
bluray is going to cost an extra 60 on top whichever way you go,
the laptops come with hdmi out, so its easy to connect them up

if you want to add a really nice soundcard or upgrade it later the itx build makes sense, or even matx

added a blu ray player
with a spare slot to add a sound card if you want (if on board audio sucks lol)
and the board has hdmi and wireless, so it basically wont need extra to be spent to get other stuff

yes, that's correct. it would appear that the intel spec has some glaring deficiencies playing hd content
you could alternatively get an amd spec which i posted above. for hd content it would be sufficient
