So I'm getting a new rig and I have £600 budget, is there anyway to make it cheaper but still be pretty decent for gaming.

Hi,

Do you have a case and if so which one? Is there anything from your existing build that can be re-used?

What resolution is your monitor?

The mSATA SSD has no where to go on that board.

-----------------------

Intel i5 will be faster and a Z97 board will have newer features,

Bigger SSD+HDD.

£23 cashback - https://toptechcashback.com/uk/en/pages/cpumb/qualifying

8Gb is all you need for gaming.

If you do go for a smaller SSD+HDD then that brings it much closer to £600 (with the cashback+free delivery taken into account), but a 128Gb SSD wont last long and will fill up really quickly.

My computer is like 6 years old, maybe longer so I doubt i'd need anything from it but I only want a SSD to store an OS on really, my screen res is 1920x1080 and I currently don't have a case

Sorry for the late reply, computers HD got corrupted. Is there anyway to get it closer to £520? maybe a lower gfx card or whatever is possible please
