The spec says they are optional though if you read through the description. The Raijintek website also says optional if you look at the specification.

I doubt they would have shipped it yet ? Give them a ring and see if you can add a couple of 120mm PWM fans, and you will also need a PWM splitter cable as the ITX board only has 1 x 4 pin fan header.
 
Guys, I need help.. theretus a silversAurus sign on the motherboard. i assume this needs removing to install the M2 SSD? But the screw just continually turns anti clockwise and doesn't come out?!!!

I should have just paid somebody to do this ****
 
I've tried and tried and tried, it's just rotating. Not unscrewing. So I can't remove the heat sink cover to install the M2. I might as well send the motherboard back, but is my warranty void in anyway because I have unboxed it, fitted the CPU and CPU cooler?

The standoff isn't turning as well is it ?
 
Panic over ! Eventually, I don't know how, I did get it to bite and unscrew.

I have all the components in place, but I'm now extremely confused as to where everything plugs in to the motherboard and PSU

I may pay somebody to take over from here, as I don't want to ruin some pretty expensive stuff.

So the biggest connector is the 24 pin ATX. That is located next to the ram slots on the right.

PCIE Express cable/s are for the graphics card. You only need 1 x 8 pin for the gpu. The connector is split into 6 + 2 so just put all of it into the 8 pin socket on the gpu.

The CPU cable plugs into the cpu header which is at the top left of the board. It might be hiding under the plastic shroud. The connector might be a 4 + 4 so just join the two together to make an 8 pin. The connectors should have small notches on the back so you know which way they connect.

The SATA cables are for things like hard drives and standard SSD's like the Seagate one.

That should be pretty much it for the psu side of things.

Fit them in, then attempt to install an OS! Fingers crossed everything is connected securely.

There are so many outlets from the PSU that aren't used, is this normal? Seems like massive overkill, and in such a small case, it makes it so awkward getting all the connections in!!

Better to get them online. They'll contain latest updates.

As for PSUs, there are non-modular (yours) and modular (where you only attach the necessary cables). Some are semi-modular and that's really like modular, because the cables that aren't modular on it, are essential and need plugging in anyway.

Yeah you always have cables left over from the psu so that is normal. As mentioned by Danny you are better off downloading the drivers from Gigabyte website. Just stick them on a USB stick and install them off that. Just make sure you unzip any that are compressed files if need be.

So I usually install the chipset driver first. The you will need the LAN driver for your internet and also the Audio driver. There are a few different audio drivers so not 100% which one you will need but I would try the HD one first. There is also a WLAN driver for the wifi if you are going to be using that. You won't need any of the RAID drivers.

Hi all, mini problem.. I'm installing my OS, but as it has come to select which drive to install it on, I can't distinguish between the 2. One is a standard SSD and one is an SSD in the M2P (I assume this is the best drive to use for the OS?

As both are the same size, I can't tell which is which!! It doesn't give me any more details about them, just asks me to pick drive 0 or drive 1? Any ideas? Cant seem to find anything in the motherboard manual, as to which drive will be which.
