New built PC won't turn on - Please Help!

Just got this reply earlier today from OC Technical Support
''I’m pretty sure that board needs a bios flash to get the Conroe running, you
will need a inferior chip though to get it post so you can update it.''
So how would I go about doing this? Do I need to get another bios chip from asus?

Kindly asked OC how that would work and if they could explain this to me. Here's the response.

Take you motherboard to a computer shop and ask them to do it for you

Well that says it all. So much for technical support eh? Haven't been pleased with the support I've been trying to get from OC. Well I know where I'll be shopping next time.

I've had similar experience before, the following problems can cause it.
1)4pin power cable for CPU isn't plugged in.
2)20pin atx power connector incorrectly plugged into a 24 pin socket
3)CMOS jumper on clear by default (happened to me)
4)short out from brass riser
5)front case cables incorrectly connected
