Yeah but these suck at video and the d7000 weighs as much as a brick. (owned a d7000 now own a sony a57).

Well, sitting fiddling with the NX100 this morning, thinking "Not sure I can be bothered to return all this and buy again", and while videoing a well lit scene, I noticed the same problem that is exhibited during very dark scenes - that of the flicker cause by something trying to adjust exposure for a fraction of a second (and this in manual mode)

So the problem is not just very low light situations after all.

Right now I just feel like I wasted a lot of time, money and effort on this Samsung setup

Once again, was sitting here convincing myself I couldn't be bothered with the returns, had another quick snap of video, and AGAIN with the flicker/flash in good light.

Way I see it right now, have three choices - Olympus OM-D EM-5, Panasonic GH3, Sony Alpha a57.

Busy with Amazon returns, and then going to have to pick something. AGAIN

Their video functions are fine unless you are shooting a movie for cinema, and I certainly have no problems carrying the D7000.

Well, I finally got some joy out of Samsung, and they will be honouring both claims.

I was on the verge of buying the A57, but I just didn't want the bulk of it while travelling.

Yeah, there is still that video issue which occasionally pops up, but there is no guarantee I won't find issue with whatever else I buy, and it is something I can fix in editing if I need to.

I still like the system overall, and do still want the NX300.

I just have to accept that nothing is going to be perfect (Unless I was spending far more money, and even then there is no guarantee I won't find issues)
