New camera, replace 5D mkII or 6D

Im in need of adding a second camera to my kit and the 6d is becoming the body of choice. I have a 7d and im starting to look at full frame, I think the 6d fits the bill especially as the misses wants to get involved.
 
well, if it helps sway your decision i went new import .

there is a lot of good feedback from the reseller that i used and i like shiny new things :)

That's who we bought the Sigma 35mm from with no problems. In a pickle now as I kind of semi committed to the second hand one and don't like messing people around :(

Wrong. This has been done to death on TP - you're legally responsible for declaring imports and paying any duty and VAT that's due. Knowingly importing items without declaring them and paying the duty/VAT is illegal, end of.

By all means import such items and save a load of money, but please don't kid yourself that it's in any way legitimate or that you're not evading tax.
 
lol, just to get off the topic, no i dont care if i defraud the tax man !

(and i also buy from amazon knowing they dont pay UK taxes)

Amazon comply with UK tax law as it stands, that's entirely different to you importing with declaring it.
 
6D just arrived, i have to say on first impressions its very nice

playing around with the EOS utility , so far can get it on the phone (android) ...

is there one for windows ?
