Hello,

Well after it being delayed by 2 months and something to get me to clients/meetings for work (and take/collect the kids to and from school) finally got my new company car this week, not as exciting or fast as some of yours but it's comfy, I like it and I am getting my bike in 2 weeks anyway for my fair share of fun and speed!

Pic from my mobile after giving it a clean to see what colour it was!

57 plate A4 2.0 TDi S-Line (had 300 miles on it when delivered due to them delivering it to the wrong branch, then having to drive it to the correct branch and then finally to me).

It has satnav built in but since I got a tomtom for Christmas which is better, I will most likely just use that :)

I like it, now just have to wait for my bike to get here!

In what way, the latest Audi satnav is quite good.

Hi,

I have traffic etc on the tomtom so can avoid most hold ups and from quick tests it has far more options (quickest, shortest, avoid toll roads, can choose to cut out parts of the route etc). I need to test the Audi one more as from my last test out of the 3 possible routes I usually use (and I haven't looked to see if there are options for type of route yet on the Audi SatNav) it took me on the longest/slowest one to get home.

I will do more tests to see how it does and compare it to the tomtom (and it's handy if I am in a rush and forget the tomtom, and I do like how it's all intergrated and the instructions also come up on the dash so it's easier to keep track).

More testing needed!

Thanks for the positive comments so far! I do really like the look of the new Audis, tried it on to get an RS4, boss just laughed at me :D

It should have TMC which allows traffic reports to be downloaded via the RDS signal and display roadworks etc on the map :)

My TMC comes from Classic which is 100.something fm.

Very nice :)
I'm guessing it's the 170ps version as you mentioned the 2 month delay?
If it is the 170, how are you finding the fuel economy? :p

It's the 140 version, it was just delayed for various reasons in between companies being useless with paperwork! Not too fussed about it being quicker, like I said I have a bike coming in the next 2 weeks which will be rather nippy :)

Firestar, I will have to give the Audi SatNav a bit more testing, I have the manual here but I haven't had much time to read through it yet.

These look great but as a result of everyone in the entire Universe specifying a 2.0 TDI S-Line as their company car they've lost the 'Wow' factor they once had :(

I didn't really have much choice on the type/model, as my company use a specific company (well did until now as after the hassles we had from now on will be using a different company) and the only choice they had from Audi was this or the saloon (and the avant is handy for the extra boot space), Can't say I'm dissapointed with it though as I wanted an Audi to replace the Merc coupe I had and it is a nice car.

I should have more choice next time though :D
