New Car Arrival

I like the colour, very similar to Ford's Performance Blue ;)

Personally I'm not a fan of the 1 series, I'd much rather have a 330i, but it looks like a nice car, congratulations :)

I'll let BMW do the servicing. :p Engine is chain cam so unless something serious goes wrong then no issues really there. :)
 
Looks lovely, I know the styling is a love it or hate it kind of thing, but I personally quite like them as long as they are in a decent colour and have decent alloys. You tick both of those boxes :)
 
Someone I know has one of these. Ugly car, good engine, no room in the back for adults and the run flats give an awful ride on bumpy roads. But still, good engine.

If its new - glad to see you didn't waste your money on the M-Sport pack. Shame it doesn't look different enough from the 'bog standard' - 'bottom of the range' 1 series.

They are a bit conservative if anything - check the Autocar and Evo reviews of various BM's, where they actually time the cars themselves properly (With professional timing gear) and it's usually a few tenths quicker.

Don't forget BMW quote 0-62.

Not by much. The guy i know has a 55reg 130i with the M-Sport pack (same colour as Slackworths btw). The different wheels fair enough but the extra body work trim and the odd tiny M badge in places dont make it 'that' different. Hard to tell the difference when one passes you going the other way doing 40 or so.

Not like the diff between an Astra Sporthatch and the VXR model, or Focus 3 door and the ST for example.

All 1 Series are 5 door, not 4 door, as the 3 door isn't being delivered yet. Ad's car is used, there are no used 3 door 1 Series.

Cant say Im the greatest fan of the 1 series but looks nice, decent colour, wheels styling. Any chance of a shot of the interior?
