New Car delayed

Pictures will be coming, I haven't had a second spare to point a camera at it yet!

Stuck in Sheffield at the moment, so will hopefully take some photos this weekend when I get back to Cardiff.

Finally got round to taking some pics of it. It's a 07 plate Z4 2.5si sport :

It's been fantastic so far, just clocked over 500 miles (about 1000 to go before 'broken in'). The engine note is so addictive, and much to my surprise the ride is actually fantastic - no tramlining whatsoever.

Thanks for the positive comments - I really didn't want to get another silver car (my last two cars were white, then silver), and BMW have a generally crap range of colour choice, so there was little choice. Very pleased with the way the colour looks in the flesh though.

Looking smart mate :) Have they ditched the run flats on the newer models? The tramlining was quite bad when I had them on mine.

That's the weird thing; I test drove a '06 2.5si sport last year and it was terrible. Tramlining all over the place, couldn't drive safely with even one hand off the wheel. However, this '07 is perfect in that department, no tramlining at all (yes, it has runflats). I can't really explain it, but very happy.

Nice choice, how come you opted for a 2.5 over any other models?

The tough choice was between 2.5i (177bhp) and 2.5si (218bhp) really. Didn't want a 2.0 (4 cyl engine, and lacked a lot of the good options), and didn't really care for the 3.0si as it was just more money for more power, and I was more than happy with the power of the 2.5si.
