a small step up from a 1.2 Corsa, was getting one of these next year when my local dealer emailed me with a pristine model.

picked it up yesterday and loving it!

nice. the best colour for them imo.

what options does this have?

a lot of owners i have spoken to have swapped the tyres for something more sport orientated. is this something you plan to do?

Every time I see those wheels I wonder what the hell the designers were thinking!

Respray or replace the wheels, ditch the Eco tyres, and then your onto a winner.

It actually drives pretty well with the Eco tyres - they were intentionally fitted! They let the car move around on the road without being dangerous - I like the way it drives, the lower traction makes for a better drive IMO.

I think it may have been clarkey on here who linked to the OEM wheels resprayed entirely silver and that looked really good.

I hugely dislike this black/silver wheel combo trend recently. it doesnt suit any car imo.

OP, if you do decide to change the wheels, please dont put rotas on it.

nothing ruins a £20k+ car like a set of £700 replica alloy wheels.

Nice to see another owner, had my blue GT86 16 months now and it still makes me smile. The stock tyres are fantastic fun in the summer but probably a bit too hard if you do a lot of mileage in the winter. Have a poke around the owners/drivers club forums for any advice on common issues or if you fancy making changes. I thought I'd stay stock but 12 months in I had a new exhaust and remap done which makes the car more responsive.

Yeah the standard wheels painted a single colour look a million times better. Do that.

The eco tyres are comical when you start pushing. There was a guy at a track day on them and they chirped and squeeked and yelped under braking and cornering everywhere. Sounded like a giant budgie!

Evo magazine have driven a number of different versions of the GT86/BRZ and concensus seems to be that fitting wider and grippyer tyres transforms the car for the better.
