Hi all.

Last week I bought a new car, a Mondeo Zetec S.

It's packing a 2.5 V6 with 67k on the clock and makes an absolutely brilliant noise (compared with 1.9 D Turbo and 1.8 Focus).

The previous owner had the wheels refurbed in anthracite and I think that the colour combination totally works.

I do have a question though, the front passenger window switch doesn't appear to work properly. When pushing up the window goes down and when pushing down nothing happens at all.

Is this a switch or a wiring issue?

Anyways, I've included a couple of pics. Let me know what you think.

They are nice cars but personally I don't like the colour of the wheels, I don't think they look right on a Mondeo, let alone a red one.

Red Zetec-S - Win.
2.5 V6 Zetec-S - Win

Optional "split rims" - fail :(
Said wheels in that colour - fail :(

Does the window work from the switch on the drivers side?

Lowering it is the one thing that could make the wheels look worse :(

Get some standard Zetec-S wheels on there, or better - ST220 ones. Leave the ride height as it is, it's lower than standard already

It'll just be the switch for the window then - few quid on ebay should sort it :)

nice, if it works from drivers side I would say that the passenger door window switch is faulty. Should get one from a scrappy for a couple of quid.

Very nice, might wan to think about adding a facelift grille to freshen the front end a bit. Looks a bit odd without the metal trim around it.

I think those wheels Iain had look the best.

Was 2500 quid not a bit dear for one of those?

I dont think its overpriced - when I was looking a month or so ago, 1.8 LXs of that age with sensible mileage were just under 2k. So 2500 for a ZS (which are pretty desirable) with a V6 doesnt sound too bad
