I didnt know that was the case with the rear subframe - the Mondeo forum's full of people buying second hand subframes off ebay, trying to retrofit an X type subframe and scrapping cars because they had that problem

Im gonna have to get something like the mondeo, save up some pennies... then buy something more fun. I need something sporty at some point in my life. The boys at work all drive fancy motors!

Either this is a different problem or those people should have read the forum. It is littered with rear subframe bush problems where you just have to get the bushes pressed out and new poly bushes pressed in to the existing subframe.
