I was commenting that he has bought a non-cab for the summer. Tongue in cheek because its such a lovely car.
 
A hard-top is a solid roof on a convertible car - be it a detachable one that is stored in the garage, or a folding metal affair that folds itself into the boot.

You dont generally use the term hard top to refer to a conventional roof as found on 95% of cars.
 
That makes sense. My bad. You see what I meant now though. Anyway, back on with the admiration and welcome a fellow Z4 (despite being a coupe :p) owner!

Was really tempted for the convertible, espcially with summer almost here but I just can't get over how much better the coupe looks :P . Has a rather huge boot too, which is a plus.

It might be my old age speaking (24 ;)) but it's the first car I haven't felt the need to drive fast in. It's really strange, normally I'd have the urge to boot it when I'm stuck behind someone. But now I can happily cruise and check myself out in every reflection :)

Tempting, but I really do love the sound of it now, so it'll be staying standard for a while.
