Good choice, I learnt to drive in the Mk4 and they were one of the first Fords to actually provide driver enjoyment (a trend started off with the Mondeo) in a long while.
The 1.25 is a great little engine co-developed by Yamaha and it likes to rev. Good colour too. Enjoy it.

My first company car was a T Reg Fiesta Zetec 1.25 in metallic blue...wonder if it's the same one?
Reg (if I remember correctly) was T863 CPP
It was a super car. Went well, handled superbly, looked nice & had air con to boot.
Great buy IMO.

Great first little car, I had a dark red one as my first car which was also a T reg about 5 years ago. Really loved it, couldn't have asked for anymore from it. Cheap to run, cheap to repair if you have a little mishap, what more could you want?

Whether it be in motors or GD your BMW/Mondeo/Whatever seems to get bought up in every single thread by someone. You have to admit, it must get a bit tedious?

Mike (L0rdMike) had one as a first car, was cheap to run and never really let him down.
I use one as my daily driver, can't ask for anything more tbh, it's prefect for driving around town.
Although mine is an 'Encore' I believe - not exactly sure what extras (if any) that it gives the car as it is a base spec model, no electric windows , no body coloured bumpers etc etc just the 1.25 zetec lump
