New Car

someone buys a new car and gets heckled by people who seem to be upset by it all - i try and console the buyer and show via the "BOOK" that he hasnt really paid far over the odds for it and get heckled myself.

someone asking opinions on a new car for certain money - i suggest an alternative which could potentially provide more performance and get heckled for it.

i cant win.

Nick I was just having a bit of friendly banter. Don't take it to heart. I don't think he paid over the odds really either. So i agree on this one.

Its only a few people who make it irritationg - ive just got them set to ignore :)

I wanted to buy one of these years ago but it was much too expensive. They handle quite well I think
What kind of power does the 1.6 have then

My parents had a 1.6 megane. Handling was ok but I preferred the steering on the 306 i had at the time. They didn't have it that long as my bro went off roading in it and crashed into a post.

I cant get past the image of that being a girls car.

It could have a 5.7 litre V8 in there and it would still scream "girls car" at me.

Mind you, Pumas and tigras do as well.
