I'm tempted to chop the Z4 in for a 987 boxster S although I'm waiting for the 3.4 engined variants to hit 25k.

Personally I don't think the Box can take the 997TT alloys without looking chavved up.

I really like the HRE p40 on the 911 http://www.hrewheels.com/monoblok/porsche/

They may look good on a boxter also (if they fit)

A guy at work took his 2.5 or 2.7 (wasn't an S I know that) for a service not long ago. Front pads and a service, picked it up and was greeted with a 2 grand bill!

I wouldn't bother with the Sat Nav. It will cost you more than you will make back and its not very clever compared to more modern systems. Great car the Boxster, you'll have fun in it and the handling is very benign, none of the challenges of the 911. Enjoy!

have to mildly disagree, i find the porsche sat nav to be seriously good, granted I've only really been exposed to tomtom (and aston martin, but thats so poor its laughable) but I'm quite a large fan.

although granted its probably a lot cheaper to buy a tomtom then rip out half your centre console

Just got back from a jaunt in the countryside with a young lady. Very very nice. Car was good too.

Got to admit, I don't like blending in, but I do feel a little too conspicuous in it. Jesus it's wide, barely fits in the drive, and I had to make about a 19 point turn to get it out of the pub earlier...not a good look... Turning circle is pants. Can't see the end of the nose either, so I'm paranoid about pranging it..

Its a lovely place to be at night, all bathed in light...Mmmm
