New card advice ?

the 6950 2gb does seem good, right on budget as well ;) will my 500w psu be ok for that?
how are powercolor cards, good cards in general?

i will eventually be upgrading monitor, CPU, ram and motherboard so good to know what problems i could come up against in the future with my current setup thanks

Well AMD suggest at least a 500W power supply so you should be good to go :)

Iv never owned a powercolor card, but iv never had problems with graphics card companies, their probably all made in the same factory anyway somwhere in China and then just branded with the companies name. As long as it has a good warranty you should be grand and I'd always check for reviews on it online too.

all the reviews of the card i could find online were for PCS++ what does the "PCS++" mean would there be a massive difference in this and the card i am looking at?

also some reviews i saw said about a 6 pin and an 8 pin pcie connector for the card
i dont think i have any 8 pin connectors are there adapters for this ?

ok cool thanks for the info
i guess all i have to do now is wait on my tax rebate :D
hopefully shouldnt take too long im getting kinda sick of 30fps max in bf3 on LOW :p

today only deal is no good as i still have to let the cheque clear into my bank account :(

also the MSI is on a different site a little cheaper, not sure how much more i can say about it with forum rules but its only a little over my original budget including delivery

i read it was 270mm i think my case will fit it but just barely with the power cables sitting in the HDD bays lol :p

edit: case is an nzxt gamma
