Just bought a HAF-X case, and transferred my system from my small and cluttered Lian Li case. All is well, except:

I have 5 SATA HDD's, and 1 SATA blu-ray drive, so all 6 SATA ports are in use, but I haven't plugged them in the same ports they were in in the old case...

Windows won't load, giving Boot disk error, so, what can I do apart from move cables around and around till i strike lucky??

OK, small update. HDDs are all independant, no RAID yet, not even JBOD. I switched my BIOS to use the HDD as first choice in boot. It's 1 of two identical 2TB drives, 1 gave the same error like all the other drives, disk boot error, this gives nothing.

So, I'm now sat here with just a blinking dos cursor, immediately after the POST screen clears...

Utterly confused...

Have you tried unplugging all sata connections and then try to use SATA connection _1, im not 100% but certain motherboards work in sequence order 1,2,3 SATA connections. Check BIOS settings also....

it could be that your bootloader is on that random disk, that dosen't have windows on i have seen windows decide that its bootloader must go on disk 0 before, even if windows is going on a completley different disk
