I know I've posted a similar thread before but summer is approaching and i really need to replace my ancient Antec Sonata with a case that will actually cool my components. On top of that, yesterday i bought an Accelero Xtreme 4870X2 and im pretty sure it won't fit in my case!

I like the layout of the Sonata so would like to get something similar, in the past people have recommended Lancool's.

I quite like the look of the Lancool Dragon-Lord PC-K58 and knowing my luck, this will sold out minutes after i post this

There are a few things i need to know about it before considering it though:

Will my 4870x2 with the Accelero Xtreme attached to it, fit?
The grill thing on the front, how much of that can be removed? I can see that there are 5 x 5.25" Drive Bays, but the grill looks like one piece. I need 2 for my Icy Dock and 1 for an optical drive. I assume it comes apart?
Is it a quiet case?
Is it a good cooling wise?

If the Accelero Xtreme will not fit in this case, is there another you can recommend?

Cheers

If you like the idea of a larger fan on the side you could always cut fan holes in the case side and add your own in, this will work with most cases... the only problem is that 90% of the time, you'd have to disconnect the fan before opening the case up fully and remember to connect it again before screwing it back on.

That's why I've removed the fan off the side of my Antec 300 and put a window there instead :p

I find my 4x 120mm side fans on my Xigmatec Utgard very good and max temps of 53c on my Q9550 overclocked to 4ghz confirm that. Plus keeps my 2x 5850 fans from making to much noise.
