Curently have a CM690II Advance but have been tempted to get the Corsair 500R.
May sound silly but like the fact that the Corsair has all its cables in black to go with the all black cables on there new AX power supplies.
Want to improve cooling as well so would I be better spending £60 and replacing the fans in the coolermaster instead. What are the fans like in the 500R ?
Have a H60 cooling my 2500K at 5gig at 36c idle and 70c load, 1.40v.
Has anybody painted the stock case cables with spray Vinyle Dye you can get from Halfords.
Want a black theme and good cooling on a budget really. HAve an old coolermaster 600w power supply which I was also thinking about spraying the cables black.
Maybe just trying to justify buying a new case and power supply for the sake of cable colours. Maybe an anal issue to most and know you cant see them once rig is built but I know its like that.
So would I be better of painting the coolermaster case cables as its a pretty good case or buy 500R.
Anybody went from the coolermaster 690 to the 500R?
