New Case Required

Doubt I will ever sell the v1000+ as it is a somewhat special one now :p

The price they are new, is not worth selling it in my opinion, maybe when they are more pricey due to rarity.

The PC007 should be able to do a rear mounting, or do it the Yewen PC7 with dodgey PSU trick.

  1. Remove backing plate
  2. Place PSU half way out from the inside out, until the fan gets stuck on the inside ;)
  3. Fix the PSU plate on
  4. Push in and secure, and wolla, its in!
  5. For removing it though, you have to sometimes take the DVD drive out, and it should be fitted first when building.

That would get your aero PSU in just fine, and if not I would buy the case off you at retail, if it was a 007 and if they are PC7 price range. :)

And yet another sale :D

I'll order it tomorrow from here with a faceplate. Silver or black, I have not decided yet.

The brushed aluminium on the v series, silver especially, is the best I have seen, and easily matches the old ATCs cases, the PC series looks somewhat cheap in comparisson.

You will soon see though ;)

Silver Raikiri, SILVER!

Only 2 reasons, I like silver :p, and shows less dust on the top :p

think im sold on this case myself as well now. getting sick of looking at my P160, its a great case, nice and quiet but that tacky plastic front is driving me potty.

just the silver or black issue. would be an easy choice (silver) were it not for the fact iv just bought a new black pioneer DVD writer and a black fan controller. decisions decisions

Get the silver cover to use with the dvd drive... as for the fan controller I have one in each colour as I change case so damned often  :D

I have a black DVD drive behind the stealth bay cover (included with the v1000+ ;)) Would not have it any other way, as it is by far the best looking when it emerges, and it looks the best when you look into the PC, as it is dark, and the bay is dark, so it just looks right.

But the stealth panels are well worth the £10 they cost, very meaty too.

Well case turned up today, my goodness the case is beautiful, the pics on the overclockers site do not do it justice!!

I only managed to move my psu from my old case to the new before the missus told me off and I got seconded to do the house work!!!!

If any one wants when I have finished I will post some pics

A review for www.yewen.co.uk would be nice, or just more pictures I could add to the page.

It is a really superb case, the brushed aluminium and just about everything to do with it!

I would advise fitting the rubber rings to the wheels, or the case will slide on your desk when you push it :p

Your sig needs updating now too :p

Ooooh mine will too when my PC-007 comes tomorrow :)
Although I found a use for my super lanboy... won't be SFF but a nice and portable dual core system

Get some pics of your new case up quick as possible...

Who cares about the system, its all about the case! :p

Oooo PC007 almost here, everyones upgrading but me :(

Come on S80, get yourself into the retail channels!

There is one slight problem, I am at work and camera is at home, did not have enough time to upload them, (blame the missus) she would not let me go upstairs and do them!! sorry

Excuses

If you need hosting for them on a more perminant way, I can host them for you and put them on the end of my review

Want pictures eh? :p

My new Lian Li PC-007

I removed the rear fan mesh stuff as it made a fair racket, also used a silencing kit and every fan in there is 7 volted.
