Hey guys, im looking at getting a new fresh case, that is really nice looking.

Ive heard a lot of +'s on the
1. Cooler Master HAF 912
2. Zalman Z9
3. BitFenix Shinobi
4. BitFenix Raider

My main aim, is not only to get a good looking case, but a case with good cable management, my last 1 was a mess, but also, most importantly, i want a case with a lot of cooling options, i am going to be using water cooling, but only the kits, so no reservoi's etc. But a lot of fans would also be nice. Another small factor, that will also be very helpful is a back panel missing from where the mobo connects to the inside panel, so that the water cooling back bracket can be easily applied/modified if needed.

And last but not least, im looking for a case around the £50.00 area, maybe stretching to £70.00 ish, but of course, the cheaper the better :)

By Kits, I'm guessing you mean the H80 kind of league? Would you be looking at the H100 as well? (It makes a difference because rad is bigger obviously). Also I'm willing to bet Cleeecooo will be in here trying to sell you on full WC at some point...

All your choices are solid options...
My concerns about all the cases is that I'm not sure how much clearance space they'd have in the roof for Fans + rad. So a h100 might not fit. All of them will fit a H80 in the rear though, and are all good solid choices.

They're quite differently aesthetically so do you have a preference from that perspective (you're going to have to spend a number of years staring at this, so pick one you like).

I'd probably pick either of the BitFenix's out of the choices you've given, depends again on how you think about looks, and airflow in the Raider is slightly better than the Shinobi.

I'd also suggest you consider this:

Very good case for what you get. You can definitely fit the H100 in the bottom, although then cable lengths might be an issue - depends on GPU, and I think you can fit it in the top...

So yeah, I'd be looking at Shinobi/Raider/Cm690ii

Edit:Just found something saying the H100 only fits in the 912 with some modding.

I have the Shinobi, awesome looking case, nice finish on it also. Cable management options are also excellent. I'd definitely recommend it.

Sorry for the crap pictures but I have a shinobi too:

Can take some better ones if you want :)
I love it.

Ill probs stick to single fan radiators, im on the antec kuhler 620 at the moment, the most standard of all kits possible, to i will soon upgrade, but i doubt ill upgrade to the h100, most probably the h80

Hi mate I'm in the same boat as you looking for a good quality case that'll take a H100 cooling loop the best one I've been able to find so far is the Fractal Arc Midi its £5 over your budget but its supposed to be an awesome case for airflow, cable management & accommodating extra long graphics cards if you ever need it.

Here's the link:

The Fractal R3 Define in my mind is even nicer looking & have better sound deadening but it'll only take a H80 size loop not the H100 so I've had to cross it off my list.

Can't comment on the Coolermaster or BitFenix cases, but I'd recommend the Zalman Z9 which falls within your budget, is black finished inside, unlike the Coolermaster & has very good airflow.
Comes with 4 case fans, though reviewers seem to agree that the side fan can be a little noisy unless it's RPM is reduced by around 20%, or it could be left out altogether, but it does create an air current around the lower half of the mainboard & feeds the GFX card with cool air.
It's not the greatest case in the world but it's well made & finished, looks good, & is very impressive at the price.
