Yep thanks - it looks like it will be wait and see as to what ends up cheaper - buy a case with internal usb3.0 headers or buy a high-end motherboard with the usb3.0 bay bundled ...

As per http://forum.coolermaster.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=14581&st=0&sk=t&sd=a&start=45#p109777 CoolerMaster have gotten their cables ready for Haf X owners; though the rep on the forums knows only about the US availability and shipping. Have to contact local CM support to find out how it is for other regions, some aren't so lucky it seems.

The Europe thread is getting bumped as of this week but hadn't seen as much traffic before now.

I'll send the rep there a PM as advised and see what they have to say.

Coolermaster Netherlands sent me my USB 3.0 kit with header cable ending on it, it arrived today.

I had a bit of a 'mare with getting my account registered on their forums at first, and it wasn't until June 30th I could submit a PM to the rep with the details in it. Didn't hear anything back after I had either, and was beginning to lose hope a bit, but to be fair they pulled through in the end.

This is what they sent (free of charge, free delivery):

Initially I was unsure it was what I was really after - since it comes as a 3.5" bay installation piece - but I realised the cables can just be unscrewed from that and used to connect to the top USB headers directly instead of having to chase them out the back of the case.

So with this, the choice ends up yours - either just route the two built-in with the cable from this bay to the mobo, and then use the other 2 on the back, or I guess it might be possible to still route the built-in panel out to the back ones if desired, and use the new bay to connect to the header and have 4 front-facing USB 3.0 ports.

Just went for the NZXT Phantom with an Asus Z68 pro motherboard which came with the PCI usb3.0 adapter ... everything works great.
