If you look at SLI that statement is not true, its cheaper to buy top end now, and buy top end again with the new features

Upgrading to the latest anything on computers is never cheap.

I would love to be able to do that but their is no way I could afford to fork out between £300 and £600 every 6 months just to keep up with the latest tech.

Not what im suggesting

Your considering SLI etc, well just buy one as thats OTT for the 19'.

Then when it slows buy the latest and greatest out then with the other half of your budget, will outlive any SLI Xfire etc.

Ah ha, see what you mean, I am going to wait for the 1900's to come out and them most likley just get a single 1900xtx.
