New case?

Hi, my coolermaster case is quite old. Its big, black, very heavy and metal i think. Im not sure if a 8800 gtx will fit in it. If it doesnt, what case should i get that can fit an 8800 gtx with plenty of room. Also going in case would be a conroe e6600, mobo and ram thats suited for conroe, x-fi sound card, network card and a few fans. Budget is up to £100.

Akasa Eclipse

Although if you want a really small case the Lian Li G50 or v600 will fit all that (tight squeeze though). You will need a low profile cooler such as the Zalman CNPS8000 or similar.

What case do you have exactly?

Edit: Oh and PLEASE get a new PSU.

tbh i dont have a clue what my case is. It is big, has a rectangle shaped fan at the bottom, has atcs written on it, has a door to get to the dvd drive and power button etc. About 4 years old. I want as much space as possible, like it to be cool, i dont overclock btw and if possbile i want it to not be a dust magnet. Can maybe go to £110.

And i am getting a new psu. Probably the OCZ 700 watt one.

You old Coolermaster is probably worth a bit of money. Sell it to make more funds for a new case. Or give it to me for free.

I have some small explosives I could introduce the Q-Tec to...

But your ATCS case depending on model and condition could be worth upto around £90-£100

now that has made my day. Few more details on it, when i open the door, i have the option of putting 4 drives in and a floppy drive. Im now wondering if it does have room because it is pretty big. Found a pic

Looks like an ATCS 710 to me, similar design to a Chieftec dragon I believe. Which is reported in this thread as being ok. Having a Dragon myself, (and taking a measure) i'd say it would fit, but it would definitely interfere with some of the hard drives in the lower cage.

if it doesnt fit im going to get a thermaltake armour. Love the design and the specs are amazing. In the threads it says that an 8800 gtx can fit so woo

Definitely the Eclipse. Much better design and you it doesn't have an in your face look that you will be fed up with within a few months.
