Anyone know when the update is expected.

Was expecting the update from the 7.10's in the last few days but nothing as yet.

Yes, I know im impatient.
 
The general vibe/rumour, that I have picked up on other forums, is that they will be released when the 3XXX series launches, it's been over a month (7.10's were released on the 11th of Oct) so it should be any day now. :)
 
I can't wait either. I hope that the improvements won't just stretch over the HD38-- cards :eek:.
 
well i hope they get them new drivers out soon cause im gonna need them for THE BIGEST GAME THIS YEAR ...CRYSIS...:D
 
Something is afoot.. they are normally out by now.

I imagine testing with the new 38xx cards and trying to nail Crysis performance?

I hope this will be the case. Taking their time could mean something good is about to come from the new drivers. I'm pretty sure any boost the HD38's will receive that I will see the benefits from also :). Timeshift could do with a boost as I have to run at 1400x900 to use full eye candy when the GTX flew through it @ 1920x1440 (didn't even try higher as I was enjoying the game that much).

There are lots of new titles that could get a boost from these drivers and really help AMD. Here's for blind hope on my part :rolleyes:.
