Just watching NBC today on tv then and they did a report on something that causes cancer, inparticular prostate cancer and the thing is.................................................................

Chard grilled meat
Thats right, meat that has gotten cooked so its got black chard spots on it.
Its supposed to produce a chemical that causes cancer.
They said its safe to eat aslong as you cut off the chard black bits.

Whats next though? Toilet paper causing canser
Its getting a bout out of control if you ask me

That's old news surely?

I thought it was well known that burnt food contained high levels of some cancer causing chemical.

Jokester

If we listened to the news and lived by it we'd kill our selves at birth cus everything kills us in one way or another

I knew that ages ago too, thought they found out about that a long time ago. And common sense really should tell you that burnt food isn't good for you.

Foreigners who live as far away as it can get:)

I have you know that chicken is sticky :p
We dont go around eating pigs blood and sheep stomachs either :p

In fact i think most the food we eat isnt really "Australian" food, just what people eat from over seas and bring recipes with them
Well except maybe some styles of cooking lamb and a few other things :)

I know exactly what you weirdos eat, I've seen 'I'm a celebrity...' & 'Bushtucker man'.

They do us no justice :(
Its lies all lies i tells you.
Now where did my pet crocodile go?
It better not be out eating chasing the kangaroo again :p

Oh one thing that makes our country different to any other is that we are allowed to eat the animals that we use on our coat of arms(the emu and kangaroo)
I dont think any other country is allowed to.
Still i have not eaten either kangaroo or emu

I heard about it, but I guess everything is carcinogenic to a degree.

I wont eat burnt things again though! :p

Oh Zip is that Chargrilled 'Shaved' Chicken?! :p :D
