In our trailer discussion thread, Aaron Kaufman has posted some notes about the trailer:
Hey guys, couple things about the trailer...
1. SpikeTV cut out the 1st half of the trailer for some reason, so make sure you see the full cut online and when it goes live everywhere this week, including our official site (go there for the best resolution). The 1st half of the trailer is a cool GDI intro with graphics and flash and really sets the tone for the 2nd half...the gameplay footage. I don't know why they cut out the 1st half, maybe because of TV time.
2. The trailer is meant to be out 1st gameplay trailer, and we purposely did not showcase Nod because we are debuting Nod at the Leipzig Games Convention. The gameplay footage was mainly taken from an updated version of what we showed at E3, really just meant to set the tone, some of the effects, and give you a sneak peek into what you can expect visually and impacting.
3. Make sure to hit up our official site Monday to see the trailer in full HD res, and yes it will be online starting tomorrow on MTV and GameTrailers.com, so check those guys out.
Lastly, everyone is begging to see Nod, well rest assured, this will be a huge for C&C 3, so don't sleep.

, as was said earlier, theres no faffing with pan, zoom, rotate etc
lolI loved all the true C&C games.Dev2 said:I don't know why everyone here is so negative toward the game saying it's like Generals. I thought Generals was a great game. I have loved all the command and conquer series including Renegade. If you didn't like Generals. Why? Was it to simple ,hardly, Command and Conquer was famous because the gameplay was so simplistic and arcadey, unlike previous strategy games that involved complex resource collecting and management.

Generals was an average RTS game in its own right but tacking the C&C name onto it and excluding EVERYTHING that made C&C amazing was a pretty **** thing for EA to do just to be able to use the C&C name as a cash cow.

That's been asked and answered already.hyper_piper45 said:I don't know why everyone hates generals so much? I thought it was an awesome game and enjoyed playing it.
However red alert with the aftermath expansion was the shizznit!![]()
My point summed up in one sentenceXPE said:generals was very mediacore, the only reason any one gave it a look on the shelve was because it had Command and Conquer on the book.
