Hi

Our currently combi boiler might be on its last legs its a Baxi 105e and its about 10 years old now... its been leaking and losing pressure recently and not for the first time it happened about 5 years ago also.. anyway we had a guy come out and change the diaphragm for a new one and that worked for a while but now its leaking again from around the same area

So if it turns out we need a new boiler which im hoping we don't can anybody recommend a reliable brand ? i have heard Worcester are good make :)

Thanks:p

Not Ferroli. Practically ANY make but Ferroli.

This is mine after just 2 years (discovered on its second annual service):

My Uncle is a plumber who does a lot of heating system stuff and will only use Valliant at the moment. Swears by them.

Have heard this so many times from people, seem to regarded as the best on the market for most people.

Vailliant and Worcester are the top.

Ferroli are horrendous as are Ariston.

The Baxi combi 105E aren't actually that bad, you can still get a lot of spares for them.

We have a Worcester, it's been in for at least 15 years and hopefully getting replaced in the next 2. I'll be getting another one too due to how easy it's been to get parts on the rare occasion it actually needed one.

The leak is coming from the Diverter vavle i know you can get repair kits but its been repaired before :) maybe its best to replace the complete diverter valve with a completely new one im not sure. it will be a damn lot cheaper than a new boiler that's for sure.

Its not been a terrible boiler just wanted people opinions on other brands :)

I've a Vaillant and have done since last July. Hasn't skipped a beat and not once have I had to play about with pressure etc.

This is coupled with Salus IT-500 thermostat which I can control remotely via an iOS app. It's not quite a nest but works flawlessly.

Would recommend the lot, it's great kit!

Thanks seem like a lot of confidence in Vaillant.
