Built new comp.
Turned it on.
Got past POST.
Noticed front LED wasn't lit.
Turned comp off.
Attempted to connected the LED cable correctly.
Turned back on and nothing happens but a clicking sound from the PSU.

What can I do? Surely it cant be the PSU because it was working fine a couple of minutes previously. PSU is a corsair 520W btw.

Test the PSU in another computer. Could have got damaged when installing new components. The clicking sound isn't a good thing usually.

I didnt instal any new components between the PSU working and the PSU not working. I just disconnected the front LED cable and turned it around.

Ahh i see what you mean now. Have you tried taking out the LED cable again and see if it works? Could be a faulty motherboard that is short circuting or something.

Are you definately sure you've wired up the front panel correctly?..

Remove the front panel connections and leave just the Power On connected, does that help?..

Is a connection loose?... 24 pin? 4 pin?... can't hurt to check.

I'll admit though, ticking is rarely a good sign.

Least you found the problem, and you can go about replacing it instead of sitting there testing for another few hours... :D
