So I am planning on getting a new computer, and its been a long time since building it myself.

Ive come up with something I may want, can you guys check it and see if its all compatiable and any suggestions would be great.

EVGA GeForce GTX 560Ti 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card
Intel Core i5-2500K 3.30GHz (Sandybridge) Socket LGA1155 Processor - Retail
Asus P8Z68-V GEN3 Intel Z68 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard
Crucial RealSSD M4 64GB 2.5" SATA 6Gb/s Solid State Hard Drive
Western Digital Caviar Blue 500GB SATA 6Gb/s 16MB Cache - OEM
Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C8 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit
Xigmatek Asgard Midi Tower Case - Black
OcUK Swift 650W V2 Silent Power Supply
OcUK 22x DVD±RW SATA ReWriter (Black) - OEM

My budget is pretty free at the moment, although I am getting a new monitor etc so dont want to go overboard.

And yea I guess trying to scrap a few squid of it with cheap stuff is a bad idea haha.

Well the PSU especially as it can affect everything in the system and cheap ones often can't supply the power they state.

As far as changes to the spec it looks good but i'd get the PSU mentioned (or similar, will you ever go SLI, if so you'll want a better one).

Also maybe a CPU cooler to overclock the i5? If not it will be quieter anyway:

That is the budget one of choice, better but more expensive ones are around if you prefer. Also you'll then need low profile RAM to clear the cooler:

PSU has been swapped, I probably wont be going SLI at all one GPU is enough for my needs. (Used to playing on low settings! Haha)

Overclock I am very hesitant of doing, whilst I would like to im worried I might bust something. Specially with such a new build, but I guess it is a good choice for futureproofing.

Well I'd get the cooler even if you weren't overclocking. It will keep temps down and like I said will be quieter - also it will allow an overclock in the future should you wish to.

If you don't need SLI maybe get something like this instead (though personally I prefer to have a modular PSU):
