Hi!

Recently built the pc in the link here

I turn the PC on and it's sounds like it is running fine. (No beeps and I can turn num lock / caps lock on and off) however nothing comes on the monitor? I've tried 2 graphics cards and the onboard graphics.

Any ideas?

I should also mention when I press the menu buttons on the monitor it tells me "Power saving enabled use the computer to activate" but however much I press keys it won't come out of this mode :(

oh, and it is a Dell M 993 CRT if this helps (I'm using the monitor fine with my spare PC at the moment.

All help appreciated thanks!

is it possible u ram needs more volts, than it is set in the bios. a few have had that prob recently. g/l

Sounds like either a memory problem or possibly shorting on the case somewhere. Try running the system outside of the case with minimal hardware attached and reset the cmos.

There is also a chance that the Psu is underpowered for your system this has been common of late with the invention of newer graphics cards drawing a lot more power. Whats the rating on your current unit?

From the setup i would suggest at least a 400w unit, 500w to be greedy.
